POST 77 meetings are the first Monday of the month at 7:30 P.M.  Members are provided a meal in the Lounge at 6:30 P.M.  Make plans to attend.

 The 1^st and 3^rd Friday nights at 7:00 P.M., we have a dinner and dance in the lounge.  The cost is $6.00.  Make your reservations with Legionnaire Jim Nay at 770-483-8216.

Post Color/Honor guard has been busy with funeral details.  We have had good response from our Veterans.  If you would like to join this group, please contact Commander Davis at 770-388-9798.

Outside lighting for the parking lot at the Post is being improved with the installation of more lights.

Approximately fifteen (15) trees are being planted around the Post as of this writing.  A Green Giant Western Cedar is being planted to serve as a Veteran’s Memorial tree to be lit during Christmas holidays.

Spring conference will be held in Macon, Ga.  March 15 and 16, 2008.  Hope you can attend some of the workshops available. 

American Legion birthday will be on Friday, March 21 at 7:00 P.M.  We will have a dinner and dance.  Our guest speaker will be Faye Casper, Sr. Vice Commander, Department of Georgia.  We will also recognize three members with 50-year service.

Called Executive Board meeting April 28th.

Election of officers will be held at the May 5, 2008 meeting.  Hope to see a large turnout.

Memorial Day will be observed at 11:00 A.M., May 26, 2008 at the Post with a program.

Flag Day is June 14, 2008.  Be sure to fly your flag and be proud of it.

June 25th is a social hour at 6 PM, followed at 7 PM by installation of our officers, dinner and dance.

The State Convention will be held June 27-29, 2008 in Augusta, Georgia at the Marriott and Suites Hotel.

Our annual BBQ will be held on July 4, 2008 at the Post. 

Installation of officers will be held on July 25, 2008.  We will have a dinner and dance following the installation.
